Review of Staten Island Summer (2015) by Horizonbts — 14 Nov 2015

I watched this movie on a Saturday while going through my file cabinet and stayed with it, The only reason I picked this movie out was because I am a huge fan of Graham Phillips from "The Good Wife", he is a great young talent.

That being said I think he could make better choices in movies considering his talent and past history on his TV show. I would somewhat compare the storyline of this movie to a poor man's "The Way Way Back" which was a much better casted movie with a lot more merit.

In the end there was some humor and decent dialouge to go along with the lame jokes. Felt like it was trying to imitate movies I have seen before and it was not being very original. So bottom line is if you can't find anything else to watch and don't want to put much thought into a movie this one would be OK to watch.

..especially if you are a teen.
