My god. How many total badasses can you fit in one film? Gary Oldman who is a lunatic badass. Sean Penn is a drunken/ crybaby badass. and Ed Harris is daddy coldwatter, badass! The story itself, I must admit, is pretty trite, but the acting in this movie is pretty superb, which ultimately carries the entire movie.
This is a solid gangster film that most people over-look. It's not very slick or flashy, but it gets the job done.
