Review of State of Grace (1990) by Little B — 18 Sep 2013
The movie is enjoyable, it presents a quietly but flowing rhythm, the atmosphere is attractive However it has not the charm or brilliance of the best movies of the same genre, because here the protagonist, an undercover cop, doesn't have an internal conflict between good and evil, it seems rather taken only by its relationship with the characters belonging to the criminal environment.
The dialogues and the psychology of the characters are childish for most of the movie and the plot quite obvious. Nice to watch but nothing more.
