Review of State of Grace (1990) by Behzad B — 15 Sep 2007
Intense, well-written, well-acted story of an undercover Boston cop(Penn) who returns to his old neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan to take down an Irish mob headed by Ed Harris. Worth seeing just for Gary Oldman as the crazy but oddly sympathetic Jackie Flannery, one of the most manic crime performances I can think of.
