Review of Starting Out in the Evening (2007) by Rob W — 18 Dec 2007

I was no great fan of this movie last year, when it was called Venus. Except this version has stilted expository dialogue ("You've always been so dedicated to your work!"), baffling anachronisms (Lili Taylor uses a diaphragm?!), a laughable "erotic" moment involving a jar of honey, and a shot of Frank Langella's geriatric penis.
