Review of Starship Troopers: Invasion (2012) by Jim A — 25 Mar 2014

As many have pointed out it resembles a 80 minute videogame cutscene with no gameplay. The animation looks Ok when still but the facial movements are painfully stiff and creepy and the characters are little more than one dimensional grunts with little personality.

Still it does have a tone closer to the original novel and some cool elements that didn't make it into the first movie which make it worth a quick watch for sci-fi action fans.
