Review of Starship Troopers 3: Marauder (2008) by Rick B — 11 Aug 2008
While it was great seeing Casper Van Dien reprise his role that he's a cult hit in, it doesn't save Marauder from being sub-par. It starts out well enough with the news clips that were so well liked in the first movie, and then an attack on a Federation base.
Soon after, ST3 enters into the realm of religion and takes it so far that I almost thought I was watching a religious program. Even despite bad acting and low production values, I had hopes this might bring Starship Troopers back to the original.
Unfortunately after the first 20 minutes, my hopes were shattered by an unrelenting and horrid script.
