Review of Starship Troopers 3: Marauder (2008) by Crystal M — 14 Apr 2012

I don't understand Van Dien's career. The man looks good, acts well enough and starred in one of the hottest, kick-ass sci-fi movies ever. The man should be making big budget action movies instead of carrying a second sequel too his one hit.

The plot is better than the last movie and while the effect budget and acting has improved it is obviously still inferior and limiting compared to the original. Still far from what a good movie should be it does try to explore the interesting potential for new bugs and drone battles. Watch after the original for a better time and forget part 2 was ever made. Some of the fun humor is back but without Verhoeven bite it's still weak sauce.
