Review of Starship Troopers 3: Marauder (2008) by Very S — 18 Aug 2008

Heavily disappointed! The only good thing in this movie is the song... The effects are much much much worse than the first movie, which I consider to be a masterpiece! Even the first Starwars movie had better effects. The bugs were like paintings and the ships were like Lego toys.

The plot was appealing but they could have taken it to much higher grounds.

The worst part of the movie was the end. From nowhere, suddenly 30 minutes of the film became about Christianity! First they don;t believe and of course in the end everybody is a believer... and the Christianity symbols suddenly appear everywhere, as if the Pope him self took over the shooting set with gun points, and said "Hi all, the movie is not very good but let me help you make it garbage, and make even the fans of the series to throw a shoe at the TV!".

Moreover, even if we overlook the awful graphics and the strange ending plot, the actors were just awful! Even our beloved "Johny Rico", who seems not to enthusiastic playing the role and had no passion at all.

The second movie wasn't good as the first but it was much better than this one. I hope the next one will not disappoint.
