You're all wrong. its so up its own arse its worth all five of those stars. great fun and great at the time to see some proper gore return to the big screen. verhoeven has made a lot of bad films and im sure there will be more to come but this one really hits the spot.

Denise richards nearly costs it half a point on principle but that would be harsh on what truly is one of my favourite films ever!. Its like 1984 on speed.
