Released in 1997.Humans of a fascistic, militaristic future do battle with giant alien bugs in a fight for survival. To best describe this movie its Full metal Jacket meets Aliens,we get to see the soldiers at boot camp before going into battle and I must say that the cgi effects still stand well today and does'nt look dated at all,I kinda like the way Director Paul Verhoeven blends extreme gore with severe criticism of the military, dazzling visual effects with parodies of Nazi propaganda and nudity This movie is huge fun.
A decent Sci-fi action film.
