Review of Starry Eyes (2014) by Chris N — 19 Nov 2014
One of my biggest surprises this year and a film that I would highly recommend. Great central performance from Alexandra Essoe, who surprisngly makes her feature debut with this film. She carries the entire film and you feel sorry for her character and you understand why she makes the choices she makes.
This film also serves as a scathing look at Hollywood and the amount of pressure that is put on young actresses. All in all this is a great film that I look forward to seeing again.
