Review of Starred Up (2014) by Patrick K — 24 Jul 2014

This is an absolutely brilliant prison drama told from the perspective of a young convict transported from juvenile detention centre to big boy prison and you really see the characters development from extremely angered youth to being able to control himself.

This film shows the brutal nature of British prisons. Surprisingly I very much enjoyed this piece but it does prove the brilliance in independent British films.
