My favorite John Carpenter film simply because it has more heart than all his other films combined. I thought Jeff Bridges was cool after TRON. After this movie, I thought he was God. Always nice to see Karen Allen too.
Charlie Martin Smith puts in a great supporting performance as well. Jack Nitzche's score grinds on you after a while though.
