Review of Starman (1984) by Will H — 21 Sep 2008
Not as fun as Carpenter's other films, but then again it's kind of a different beast altogether. Its a very serious and dramatic sci-fi story about an alien who's lost and just wants to go home and cope with the world.
Pretty entertaining, and well written, but not outrageous like his actions or horrors. (pretty sure it wasn't his script is why, that and no Debra Hill producing).
