Review of Starman (1984) by M D — 29 May 2009
Surprisingly profound for the usual sci-fi of John Carpenter, Jeff Bridges stars a visitor to earth disguised as a womanâ??s dead husband. The two road-trip together learning from one another and exposing some interesting questions about humans.
Far from Carpenterâ??s best films and itself not the most entertaining, the only thing its missing is David Bowieâ??s song of the same name.
