Weird choice by Carpenter but still a brilliant choice. It's just proves that he could do anything is he set his mind to it. Nowadays it seems like he's back to is normal self and is focusing on the more violent side of cinema.
"Starman" will still be one of his better works to date. Jeff Bridges is amazing as the weird ass alien dude called Starman.
