Review of Starman (1984) by Voonie U — 16 Jun 2009
I loved this movie when I was a kid. Jeff Bridges really does his best work when he has to act like he doesn't know what's going on. Karen Allen is great in this one as well, and let's not beat around the bush.
She was young and gorgeous, which didn't hurt. It's incredible to note that John Carpenter directed this film, since he's come to be known as a horror master. This is proof he can do material of other varieties with the same strength and quality as Halloween.
