The Stargate - an ancient alien device capable of creating a stable wormhole and sending you instantly to another planet. This quite simply was an amazing concept and the movie that kick started the longest running sci-fi show of all time - Stargate SG1.
For a movie that`s 14 years old the special fx are fantastic and the acting good. Over all this is a great sci-fi flick and worthy of bearing the name Stargate.
