Review of Stardust Memories (1980) by Erik E — 25 Aug 2008
Great, philosophical film. Heavily influenced by his idols Bergman and Fellini, this is one of Allen's most philosophical movies. In a way, it almost seems like the American version of 8 1/2. One of the more perceptive and witty explorations of celebrity and stardom.
A very "meta" movie.
