Review of Stardust Memories (1980) by Paul D — 19 Apr 2012
Woody Allen's version of Federico Fellini's "8 1/2" is endlessly intriguing, visually appealing, well-written and clever. It's also emotional and atmospheric. It's bleak and hopeless, and empty in a way which assists the viewer in relating to it's main character, Sandy Bates.
It's Woody Allen at his finest.
