Review of Stardust (1922) by Matthew M — 01 Jul 2012
Despite a premise that threatens to put off most of the target audience, "Stardust" is a simply wonderful, sweet fairytale that features bundles of humour and some brilliant action. Matthew Vaughn, the director of another brilliant film Kick-Ass, shows us that it's not just the nitty-gritty stuff he does well - he also makes great films for children and their parents.
It's a superb combination of pure adrenaline, adventure, fun and love, but won't put off anyone not looking for a soppy tale. Just pure whimsical fantasy as its best.
