Review of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) by Jesse F — 09 Apr 2018
It felt like a 2-hour long advertisement for BB8 toys. None of the characters seemed real. The Force has no meaning anymore. It's just magic power. Instant magic power.
A bunch of stuff happens that doesn't make any sense. The plot is a series of absurd coincidences (because "The Force"), and a lot of the other stuff that happens makes no sense (like when Solo is confronted by the 2 gangs and the magical space monster).
It is a heartless movie that seems to exist outside of the Start Wars Universe.
