Review of Star Wars (1977) by Steve G — 30 Dec 2015

"Star Wars" is exiting and amazing Sci-Fi movie of 1977. The plot to "Star Wars" is that a teenager named "Luke Skywalker" portrayed by "Mark Hamil", buys two droids one called "C-3PO" portrayed by "Anthony Daniels", and the other droid called "R2-D2" portrayed by "Kenny Baker".

"Luke" discovers a video message on "R2-D2" whilst he is cleaning him. "R2-D2" said the video is for "Obi-Wan Kenobi" portrayed by "Alec Guinness". Later that night "R2-D2" escapes and goes to find "Obi-Wan".

Once "R2-D2" finds him, the message shows that "Princess Leia's" portrayed by "Carrie Fisher", has been captured ship has been captured by "Darth Vader" portrayed by "James Earl Jones" .

"Obi-Wan" takes "Luke Skywalker" and starts teaching him to become a "Jedi" and to stop the dark side of the force. The plot to this movie is incredible and in 1977 was revolutionary.

The intro to the film is so stunning and grabs hold of you. During the movie we get introduce to one of cinema's greatest, if not the greatest villain of all time. The climax of the film is so thrilling and exciting.

The acting in "Star Wars" is perfect "Harrison Ford" and "Alec Guinness" are amazing when put together in a movie. The special effects in "Star Wars" are so great due to C.

G.I. not being available for years to come; my only issue with the special effects are there are some scenes the green/blue screen is very visible. "John Williams" created some of cinemas' greatest music for "Star Wars".

"Star Wars" was the movie that changed the way that movies were made. This movie will always remain a classic to everyone. If you enjoy Sci-Fi movies then I highly recommend you watch "Star Wars" as it is an amazing movie with a perfect plot, stunning acting and the greatest villain of all time.

I won't give "Star Wars" a 10/10 because of a green screen error and a few scenes that drag on. I give "Star Wars" a 9.5/10.
