Review of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) by Mateo S — 31 May 2013
If I'm being honest with myself, this is probably my favorite Star Trek movie. It's a political-drama/sci-fi mystery with a smart, cheeky script. Comparing this movie to what we get now-a-days, it's in a class of itself: Nuanced, deliberate, layered.
..all good stuff. If it would have been given a budget worthy of its plot and quality, it would likely be a "classic" of American cinema.
