Review of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) by Jamie T — 16 Mar 2008
Despite some heavy-handed Cold War allegory, this is a fine send off for the original crew of the Enterprise. A witty, suspenseful script, energetic direction, strong acting and a nicely broad scope all compare to make this the best TREK film since THE WRATH OF KHAN.
..and both share the directing and writing talents of Nicholas Meyer, whose literateness and sense of entertainment make for a fine entertainment.
