This is one of the really, really good ones. The act of being a Star Trek Fan is built on stories like this. It's one of the defining moments in the political landscape of Star Trek, and it's such a memorable movie that Star Trek Voyager many years later had an episode featuring flashback scenes on Sulu's Starship Excelsior, set around the events of this film.
