Review of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) by Itzhak N — 26 Feb 2010

Another OK Star Trek film. As with all Trek films the story is strange but it is still enjoyable. The best part of the Trek films with Shatner has been their stories, They may be strange and at times hard to follow but they are always enjoyable.

The acting and writing in this film is like those that came before it. Shatner is not the best actor but he holds his own, while the rest of the cast seam the excel in their roles. The film is well directed but not great.

I would say this is a film for Sci-Fi fans, which I am not, but can also be enjoyed by the average movie fan as well.
