Review of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) by Justin M — 01 May 2010

This might be my favorite Star Trek movie. It starts out really well, and the reviews would have you believe that it bogs down in the middle. Well, maybe they're right. But what I've always found interesting about the Star Trek universe, compared to other sci-fi universes, is how detailed and believable it is.

So the concept of a fairly detailed foray into the universe's politics was fascinating. This movie's intelligent plot and characters were a welcome contrast to the hamfest that the series had become.

All in all this is one of, if not the best Trek movie.
