Review of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) by Marcus W — 20 May 2009
Again - pretty bad. However, this one at least tried something interesting. Using a spaceship to find god - a very cool idea, but it ends up as a VERY lame version of 2001. The end was pretty crappy - so its not god, its just a lonely, asshole alien - Blah! A nice touch with the "Life is but a dream" bookends and the bro-mance with Kirk, Spock and Bones camping - the most entertaining one so far.
