Review of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) by Simon H — 26 Jan 2010
Out of the original "Star Trek" film series this movie is obviously the worst one of the story arc. William Shatner wrote the story and it's pretty evident that this was the case. While the plot itself is a fairly decent one, the rest of the film suffers from corny dialogue, corny jokes, and two campfire songs too many.
Luckily, Leonard Nemoy provided the story for "Star Trek 6", and it's a much better film for it.
