Review of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) by Christopher B — 10 Jan 2012

Questionable premise. Nimoy is remembered as accepting parts because they are quality, challenging characters. Shatner for taking any part offered and trying to make it better than written. This script was one that couldn't be improved on - yet Shatner fell for it.

While this could be a good SF flick - at it's core it wasn't Star Trek (just like the Abrahms abomination), and couldn't be bent to the standards of that Great White Bird of the Universe.
