Review of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) by Cam S — 14 Jul 2008
It's really not as terrible as it's made out to be. Sure it has some awful parts, but there also some brilliant character moments too. Sybok is actually a really good character, and the plot is pretty intriguing, moreso than some of the previous films.
But then there's the times where it gets campy... REALLY campy... So bad it becomes hilarious and the experience is much more fun. I'd much rather watch something like that than a movie that takes itself too seriously.
