Review of Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) by Justin And Denise S — 04 Jun 2009
It's an interesting story, but it really really drags in places. The cast are pretty good, with Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley and Stephen Collins proving to be quite entertaining, but William Shatner completely steals it.
The life he brings to the screen can't be matched. Fantastic score too. With some tighter editing this could have been rather good, but unfortunately it drags for far too long in far too many places and becomes quite boring at times.
