Review of Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) by Marcus W — 27 May 2015

So, heres the deal - Kylah LOVED the new Star Trek movie and was interested in seeing more of Spock, etc. So, we decided to start a marathon of the original movies. It all started with a big "Thud" with this one.

I remember liking this more than I thought I would in the past, but wow, is this thing long and boring (and I am a sucker for long and boring). Seeing it through Kylah's eyes - we couldnt make it past the first hour.

It took 40+ minutes before the Enterprise even left its parking space. To avoid an immediate halt to the marathon - we moved on to the Wrath of Khan.
