Review of Star Trek: Nemesis (2002) by Aren B — 09 Jan 2009
This final voyage of "The Next Generation" crew is not nearly as despicable as some believe it to be. Although not living up to its potential, "Nemesis" boasts an interesting villain, a spectacular space battle and a return of the compelling character dynamic between Picard and Data.
As well, the death of Data is truly moving, especially to fans of the television series. Perhaps it's not the film we would have wanted to end "The Next Generation" story, but we could have gotten worse, or another "Insurrection".
Yuck.
