Review of Star Trek: Nemesis (2002) by Benjamin B — 21 Sep 2012
This movie may have some impressive special effects, and Tom Hardy does a pretty good job as the main villain, but the execution is just tired, and you leave the movie forgetting over half of it. This movie just sucks. I'm sorry. They should've left it with the weak Insurrection. Before the reboot, this movie made the least amount of money domestically out of the 9 star trek films released. Shows how people got tired of this. Generations made the audience rethink the series, First Contact breathed new life into Star Trek, Insurrection brought it back down and Nemesis put the final nail in the coffin. Don't waste your time with this movie. There's a lot of plot convenience, and a lot of other shit that doesn't make sense.
Terrible movie. Wasted potential.
