I have no idea why this is seen as a Star Trek movie for a mainstream audience....they travel back in time to find Humpback whales who are apparentlly communicating with aliens. Seriously.
Though we do get the sublime line: "Can anyone tell me where the Nuculeeer Wessels are?".
