Review of Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) by Steve T — 31 May 2014

I've always enjoyed Star Wars over Star Trek, maybe because the vast number of TV shows (various generations) were too low-FI and frequent that they tainted my opinion of Trek. But I have to admit that these new Trek movies (made by J.J. Abrams) have been AMAZING. Just when I thought Trek movies couldn't get any better, they go and make a movie like THIS, and TOTALLY REDEEM THEMSELVES!

This story line had more twists than Chubby Checker, and the special effects were grade A+. They also couldn't have picked a better cast for this film. I don't know if Abrams intends on making any more Trek movies or if this was his final frontier, but I'd watch any future Trek films he's involved in. With that said, I have very high expectations of Star Wars episode 7, which I believe Abrams is also involved in.
