Wow, action, humor, moral ambiguity, goofy situations, snappy zingers, a great villain, lots of good music, weird homages to the old films, and an amazingly explosive beginning. This movie is mostly about the makeup and dazzling effects so in 3D, it's fun for everyone.

It's also quite a story, with little segments that you don't notice until you watch it 2 or 3 times. I especially liked Mr. Scott (Simon Pegg) he was great! There was some good acting by John Cho's character, but this one was mostly a showcase for the "villain" which was alright but kind of silly and hokey.

Khan, the main baddie, was motivated by weird family based integrity, like all terrorists, it was a sad way to portray a clever creative villain - but for people under 30 years old, it's probably the greatest most intelligent story of 2013, so I appreciate that it can appeal to 30 year olds and 31 year olds as a sci-fi masterpiece.

I just don't think that anyone over 50 can really say that, maybe someone that old will just find this dumb fun, and disappointing. It definitely was visually exciting and the 3d was mindblowing.
