Review of Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) by Sanna L — 02 Mar 2009
Not as terrible as I remembered, but not as good as First Contact or even Nemesis. The action scenes were ok, but the plot wasn't much to talk about, "not much more than an episode of the tv-series" my husband said and I agree. If you're making a movie please add something to make it worth the bigger budget! It was pretty weird that the Federation was co-operating with the son'a but I for one would've liked an explanation why. And Riker appearing out of nowhere to save the day (without the warp core how did he make it?) was a bit too obvious.
Picard had some good moments but all in all the whole crew appeared tired and, well, old. Except for Worf that is =).
