Its not the worst thing in the world but it is poorly written. Even in the world of sci-fi, its hard to buy into some elements of this movie. Even in the dialogue people say things like,"Don't ask me to explain it.

" and we're expected to just buy into it. F. Murray Abraham does a great job but his character is pretty lame. As far as villains go, he's a bloody coward. I do appreciate that this movie tried to give personality to the main cast but it was pretty cheesy.

Its too long and too boring.
