Review of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) by Peter B — 17 Jan 2010
Another extremely bland / whats the point extended star trek episode masquerading as a film. Seen em all now and boy theres some stinkers. If youre a die hard trekkie therell be stuff to like but other than that it just feels like an epilogue to the last one.
As if the makers thought---ah we killed off spock but we wanna bring him back, lets make the film about that. The new jj abrams one is a masterpiece of a sci fi blockbuster. Other than that watch - trek 2, about 20 minutes of 4 are funny, 6 is good, generations has its moments and first contact is flat out brilliant.
The rest - this included - are only for full on trekkies. Which I aint - I use the force - so I was bored.
