This Star trek film is one of the best and Nimoy directs a Trek film for the first time and does a fine job. Great fun all the way thru. Christopher Lloyd makes an unlikely Klingon as General Kruge the arch villain in the film.
Highlights include the destruction of the Enterprise and the Genesis planet & the classic Kirk style fight scene on the doomed planet. 'I Have had enough of you'!! What makes this film as a whole is the close friendships that bond a crew together and risking everything for a friend in the process.
