Review of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) by Tom J — 08 May 2009
An unfortunately slow middle act in this trilogy (Star Treks II, III & IV). The message & morals of the story are very good, and shows what true friendship is about, but it isn't nearly as engaging as the last film or the one to follow.
However, this film is mandatory viewing in order to finish the story of Wrath of Khan, and set the stage for The Voyage Home (the one with the whales!).
