A noble addition to the beloved "Star Trek" lore, and one of the best films stemming from the original series, which is the most resourceful and inspirational of the six television series. Brimming with heartfelt meaning, otherworldly performances and skillful action sequences (not to mention plenty of the trademark "Trek" humor, the third "Star Trek" film is without a doubt worth revisiting before or after JJ Abrams' reboot.
