Review of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) by Jack M — 29 Apr 2012
While it may be impossible to recapture the magic and gandeur of "Wrath of Khan", the next installment in the "Trek" series is by no means a misfire. Undoubtedly under-rated, both at it's release and today, "The Search for Spock" is another powerful, adventerous entry in the saga, forming a kind of second-act to the growing drama of the Enterprise crew.
Acted superbly throughout, and giving audiences everything one would expect from Kirk and the crew of the NCC-1701, "Star Trek III" may be a dip in quality, but just below perfect still means one hell of a motion picture.
Worth every moment of your time and fun throughout, this picture still lives long, and most certainly prospers.
