Review of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) by Billy G — 09 Nov 2012
I've been watching this movie since I was a little kid, and I still love it. What stands out for me is Admiral Kirk's determination to return Spock's soul to his body, and what he's willing to sacrifice in order to do that.
The whole movie has a sense of foreboding, with the stealing of the Enterprise, the desperate battle with Kruge, and the destruction of the Enterprise. There are a lot of emotional moments in this movie, and even non-Trek fans should like The Search for Spock as long as it is coupled with it's predecessor, The Wrath of Khan.
