Review of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) by Lilianetty L — 06 Feb 2013

Ok, this continues where it was left off...with the situation about Spock but life goes on, ever...ever on (like that LOTR song from the musical, only with the road instead of life in the lyrics). In this new adventure the Enterprise must be returned to the owner Kirk (won't spoil the reason why, just watch it if you want or not). The script? It was ok (better than the 1st movie obviously but not better than the 2nd one). Is not because of what people want (action for them is violence even in 2013, here action is words and good camera takes, something not many understand, eh?). I like it when this is done like this, innocent and not realistic (sci-fi movies and fantasy are my faves because of it's concept art and world created). The acting? The best scene for me is the last one...just that chemistry is worth watching (even the director did an amazing job in this one). The music score was amazing also (wonderful).

So yes, 3 stars of 5. It is somehow slow paced, could have been better in that matter, but since it was the 80's and we are not the director who chooses it to be this way, I enjoyed it and liked it as it is. AU REVOIR MES AMIS! BLESS YOU AND WISH YOU LUCK THIS 2013! - February 6, 2013.
