Review of Star Trek: Generations (1994) by Caleb G — 12 Jul 2008
The last voyage of James T. Kirk and the last voyage of the Enterprise-D is an above-average Star Trek story, but for a torch passing ceremony, it doesn't showcase either of the first two Star Trek casts particularly well.
On the other hand, now that better TNG movies exist, it doesn't feel like quite so much of a gyp. On the contrary: considered on its own merits, it was actually rather good.
